Packing Guidelines - Merchandise
·
All merchandise must be packed by
individual sku. ·
All merchandise must be individually protected by plastic, bubble
wrap, and/or cartons. Please refer to the “Packaging
definitions” section of the website ·
All merchandise must be individually labeled with manufacturer
style # and merchandise description. ·
Do not include pricing information on merchandise labels or
tickets. ·
All appropriate apparel orders should be packed with hangers
inserted into the garments. Do not use hangers provided by the NM Store hanger
program. Hangers should fit the
merchandise appropriately. ·
GOH apparel must be fully protected with a clear plastic
bag. Poly bags for shorter garments must be no longer than 35". For garments
longer than 35", vendors must ensure poly bags are no longer than 62". ·
Safety pins and straight pins are not allowed (exception: Men’s dress shirts). ·
All merchandise must be packed in the
unit of measure as displayed on the purchase order. All merchandise must be
packed in "sellable condition". For example, merchandise ordered by “sets” must be packed by
respective unit of measure and merchandise ordered as “eaches”, must be packed
individually. · Each individual shoebox must be rubber banded unless it is lip-locked or a sleeve is utilized. Please see example, Secure Shoe Box Methods
· Any shipment that does not arrive in a sellable condition requiring 100% inspection will be issued a violation.
· All jewelry should be packaged and shipped with Pouches or Presentation Boxes. For
