1.       Buyers are NOT authorized to issue routing. All routing must be approved through the Neiman Marcus Traffic Office. For questions regarding shipping, refer to the Transportation contact List. 

a.       Direct to store shipments must have authorization from The Transportation office. Each unauthorized direct to store shipment will be assessed a $150 violation chargeback.

2.       FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN ONE CHARGEBACK PER VIOLATION WHICH COVERS ALL ADDITIONAL HANDLING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH FREIGHT, PACKING, INVOICING, AND MISROUTING.

3.       Merchandise received after the cancellation date, not as ordered, defective, or failing to meet any other Purchase Order requirements can be refused or returned to the vendor and all freight will be charged back regardless of terms. Bergdorf Goodman will accept no liability on shipments returned to the vendor under this condition.

a.       Goods must be at our final delivery address (See routing guide) ON or BEFORE the given CANCELLATION DATE.
Temperature controlled deliveries, should be shipped to the Bergdorf Goodman Women’s Store address to arrive at our facility no later than 10:00 am., Monday thru Friday, so that we can offer same day service to our stores. Shipments received after 10:00 am, which suffer damage due to lack of refrigeration, will be returned to your company at full value. Please contact the Neiman Marcus Transportation Department.

4.       Bergdorf Goodman will not accept charges for freight, hangers, labeling, handling, packing, insurance (declared value) or any other miscellaneous charges on the merchandise invoice. Do not include these charges on your merchandise invoice.

5.       Vendor is responsible for insuring shipments without cost to Bergdorf Goodman regardless of freight terms.

6.       Your purchase order is a legally binding agreement and makes reference to these instructions.

7.       Shortages and damages (concealed or apparent) received by Bergdorf Goodman or its Consolidators will be charged back to the vendor regardless of freight terms.

8.       G.O.H. Merchandise – Effective September 15, 2008, the Neiman Marcus Group East Coast Distribution Center (ECDC) will no longer accept hanging GOH (Garment on Hanger) trailer shipments.  GOH merchandise must be shipped in cartons.

9.       If Purchase Order Terms are vendor pays freight, you must ship PREPAID.

10.    All samples should be shipped prepaid FOB to the following addresses:

11.   Freight will not be paid on sample shipments. Return of sample merchandise will be on a vendor paid basis only.
These Routing Instructions apply to all Bergdorf Goodman Purchase Orders for Supplies and/or Services.

A Special Order will be identified in the “Vendor Instructions” field of the hard copy of the purchase order you will receive from the buyer. This field will identify the order as a Special Order and will give a Customer Name and Sales Associate Name as part of the description. These orders as described in the “Vendor Instructions” field will define a Special Order and the Authorization to ship to the above address. Any unauthorized shipments sent to a Bergdorf Goodman facility will have all freight charged back to the vendor.
